This work uses as its support polyester wool from the skeins my grandmother used to knit sweaters for her grandchildren, transformed through felting, gesture, cutting, and recomposition until it loses its original function. .

The work does not seek to preserve her memory, but to transform it, just as the wool reconfigures into something else once it loses its form.

The contrasts between warm ochres and deep blues translate that same tension between warmth and loss that now shapes her memory.
